Raintree  Arts Council is proud to support Golden Hills Plein Air for the second  consecutive year! This is a one-day event that will take place on 

 September 14, 2019, in Louisiana, Missouri.  Again this year, painting  can take place anywhere within Pike County Missouri or Illinois.

The 2019 U City in Bloom Garden Tour and Plein Air Art Event will be  held on 

Sunday, September 22, 2019

 Artists will be creating original  works of art from 8:00am to 3:30pm.

Plein Air painting  competition. First, second, and third-place winners will receive cash  prizes, and the opportunity to be the featured artists in the November  gallery show in the Green Center, 8025 Blackberry Avenue in University  City. The show will include a reception, and sale.

Event will run from  9th – 12th, 2019. We will be offering $500 purchase prize and $450 a day in 1st, 2ndand 3rd place awards. Artist will be given the choice to paint sunrise, sunset or a nocturne be be judged Friday morning with the same prize amounts.  Artists will have the chance to sell their works on Saturday, October 12th at gallery Zeke.
